BRIDGEPORT -- Police investigating what they have called "a possible domestic homicide" released the names of the two people involved in an Ash Street incident in which a city man died Saturday after being pinned to a wall by a vehicle.
Police identified the dead man as 24-year-old Jeffrey Brown. The person driving the vehicle was Sherelle Baldwin, 21, police said.
According to police spokesman William Kaempffer, Brown and Baldwin both lived on Ash Street and have a child together.
"I can not characterize their relationship at the time of the incident," Kaempffer said in a release.
No charges have been filed, he said.
According to Kaempffer, city police and fire departments were dispatched to Ash Street at about 8:45 a.m. Saturday, and on their arrival found Brown between a wall and a vehicle. Police said they had responded to earlier domestics disputes involving the two.
